The forming host is located underground for vertical production. It uses a closed structure combining an integral inner core mold with an integral outer mold and side molds (end molds). The intense vibration energy comes from a large-impact integral central swing, which is fixed to the inner core mold via a hydraulic device, enabling rapid mold exchange. The core mold vibration forming process involves feeding and vibrating simultaneously; it can only serve as a vibration force. The vibration force is strong and non-directional, facilitating the free flow of concrete and filling gaps. Therefore, the core mold vibration structure is compact, and the concrete strength is high.
In China, compared to centrifugal and suspended roller processes, core mold vibration is a new process with a high degree of mechanization and automation. Although it started late, its unique advantages have attracted attention and focus from the regulatory industry.
(1) It changes various unfavorable factors of underground closed vertical forming, ground control, centrifugal force, and roller pressing process ground horizontal production, resulting in significant improvements in the production and working environment, lower labor intensity for workers, and promoting safe and civilized production.
(2) Core mold vibration uses dry-hard concrete, a dry process with zero disintegration and a low water-cement ratio. High-frequency vibration improves concrete strength.
(3) High-frequency integral vibration of the inner core mold ensures that the concrete mixture is full, uniform, and dense, making it particularly suitable for pipe jacking production.
(4) After forming, the mold can be demolded immediately, from the inside out. Each diameter only requires one set of molds, significantly reducing mold investment costs.
(5) Steam curing is not needed. A plastic film can be used to maintain moisture and temperature using the hydration heat of the cement. After 24 hours, it can be transported to an open-air yard.
(6) The frequency, amplitude, and impact force of the vibration can produce pipes of different sizes, facilitating adjustments.
(7) Due to vertical vibration forming, it can form pipes with extra-large diameters. With corresponding configurations, it can form various shaped pipes to meet the diversified production needs of inspection wells, box culverts, bottom pipes, and anti-corrosion linings.
(8) Due to vertical production, unlike the horizontal production of centrifugal and roller processes, it does not require complete passage through the steel bar frame from the inside. Therefore, the concrete material is less affected by the steel bar pitch. Therefore, with the supporting steel bars, under relevant conditions, thin-diameter steel bars should be selected as much as possible to reduce crack width or delay crack occurrence. In other words, it can adapt to production with small-pitch reinforcement.
(9) Due to vertical production, the chin is located at the bottom, making it suitable for socket and enterprise pipe production, changing the low bearing strength of horizontal production.
(10) High production efficiency ensures the demand for pipes in large-scale and emergency projects.
(11) Advanced technology and equipment determine the quality and stability of the products. The inner and outer molds ensure the accuracy of the inner and outer diameter dimensions of the pipes. High-quality pipes can extend their lifespan, resulting in long-term economic benefits and environmentally friendly social effects.
Process Disadvantages:
(1) Due to the use of dry-hard concrete and a dry production method, and the immediate removal of the inner mold after forming, the inner and outer walls of the pipe are prone to rough scratches, and the finish is not as good as centrifugal pipes or suspended roller pipes. (2) Although the forming takes place in an underground pit, it is accompanied by noise.
