Our radial extrusion manufacturing process and the advantages and characteristics of the vertical radial extrusion pipe machine are briefly introduced here, which may not be enough for us to understand its production. Therefore, in order to enhance our understanding of this emerging technology, we will further explain this advanced radial extrusion process in detail.
The radial extrusion device includes two types of graded dies: a moving die and a stationary die. In use, it is important to know that the moving die and the stationary die form a cylindrical cavity. A steel bar-connected frame is placed in the cavity mold. Under the action of the kneading force, the joints of the connecting steel sleeve undergo plastic deformation and mesh tightly with the auxiliary steel bars. After ensuring the stability of the joints, cement is injected into the interior, and after molding, the radial extrusion mold is removed. Early axial-radial kneading joints existed. Because this radial extrusion process is very inconvenient for on-site construction of connecting joints, and the quality is not very stable, it is rarely used later. The radial extrusion process we currently use is widely applied, and its convenience and other aspects have contributed to the important reasons for the widespread development of this process. In short, it is a plastic processing method that applies external force to a metal billet placed in a container (extrusion cylinder) to make it flow out from a specific die hole to obtain the required cross-sectional shape and standard.
Radial extrusion consists of a machine base, front column frame, tension column, extrusion cylinder, and electro-hydraulic control system, and is equipped with a die frame, punch, dial, and slide plate, etc. Radial extrusion cylinder, stress-strain conditions, radial extrusion direction, lubrication conditions, extrusion temperature, extrusion speed, die type or structure, billet shape or quantity, some common products, according to shape or quantity, can be divided into forward, reverse, (including plane, axisymmetric, usually three-dimensional deformation extrusion) transverse extrusion method, glass lubrication, hydrostatic pressure, continuous radial extrusion, etc. We also see that the vast majority of hot deformation radial production enterprises use the forward hot deformation extrusion method, obtaining radial and radial extrusions that match the required cross-sectional shape through specific dies (flat dies, conical dies, split dies). The pressing process is simple, the equipment requirements are not high, the metal deformation capacity is high, the production design is wide, the radial function controllability is strong, the production flexibility is large, and the tooling is easy to maintain, maintain, and modify. However, the disadvantage of radial extrusion is that the inner surface of the extrusion cylinder has a strong resistance to the radial direction, accounting for a large part of the kneading energy consumption. It limits the extrusion speed of aluminum and aluminum alloys, and coupled with the wear and service life of direct extrusion dies, the product structure and function are uneven.
In the above article, we have told you about the radial extrusion process. If you don't understand it yet, please take a look. That's all about this knowledge point, hoping it can help you.
